The Fifth Sunday Fellowship: A Shared Pulpit Experience

First Parish is joining in a project by the Fifth Sunday Fellowship: A Shared Pulpit Experience, a collaborative worship program created by several congregations together. Our Sunday service this week is titled “UU in Liminal Space.”

This joint online service begins at 10:30 am, Sunday, January 29. Note the later-than-usual starting time for this fifth Sunday event. First Parish participants may join from home or come to church to participate together. We will have a data projector and screen set up for the shared experience. To participate via Zoom, please send an e-mail message to fpnorthfieldma@gmail.com for a link. All will be welcome.

Lisa Napier and Chris McCann of the East Suburban Unitarian Universalist Church in Murrysville, PA, will lead the service. Here is how they describe the program:

“Love is the teaching of this Church. What does this line, in so many of our covenants, mean, in measurable, actionable human behavior? … What will be required of us if we feel this with all our Heart, and grow? And reflect on our failures? And make amends? And build our legacy?”
